Inbound / Outbound Sales Representative (Talent Pool) – Milan, Italy (On-site)

About the Sales Opportunities

Depending on your background and strengths, you could be matched to one of the following tracks:

Inbound Sales

Engage with leads who are already interested in SumUp. Understand their needs and recommend the best-fit solutions from our ecosystem.

Outbound Sales

Reach out to existing or potential merchants to introduce and upsell our tools, helping them get the most out of SumUp.

This is a general application — we'll assess your profile and match you to the role that fits best.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Speak with small business owners to learn about their needs and recommend tailored SumUp solutions
  • Build trust through consultative selling and great service
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell (POS, invoicing, payments & more)
  • Manage your leads and pipeline in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with teams like Customer Support, Product, and Marketing to create a seamless merchant experience
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of sales or customer-facing experience (bonus if it's phone-based)
  • Experience as an SDR or in inbound / outbound sales is a strong plus
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • A proactive attitude, great communication skills, and a drive to hit (and exceed) targets
  • Curiosity and a desire to grow in the fintech space
