Maersk is seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our team as a Sales Representative Reefer for our Genoa or Milan office. In this role you will focus on creating valuable relations with current and new stakeholders visiting them regularly work with highly professional teams in an environment where you will be valued recognized and wellrewarded.

Key Responsibilities

Visits customers onsite

Manages assigned customers and budget base; pursues and secures business in line with the business objectives

Probes and identifies customer needs and provides solutions

Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base

Communicates significant trends rate changes and policies to assigned accounts

Researches and understands the territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers

Researches and analyses competitive and industry trends

Ensures customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality

Is typically responsible for medium impact customers to the business in any size cluster

Who we are looking for

Handson experience of (External / Outside) Sales in a Logistics or Forwarding business preferably in reefer and / or FMCG vertical.

Strong negotiator with a hunter mindset who understands procurement tactics and has a very good interpersonal skill to keep the good relationship and readiness to work in the field and meet clients.

Able to handle multiple vertical and horizontal stakeholders with multicultural backgrounds internal and external stakeholders. Prior international working experience is a plus.

Proven track record of success in winning and developing (key) customers.

Ability to think outside the box deliver innovative solutions and ways of working

Flexibility while remaining accurate under stressful situations

Strong communication skills and good commercial sense

Proactivity drive ownership willingness to go the extra mile for customers and ability to build long term relationships

Good Microsoft Excel skills able to work on live online systems

Native / proficient Italian speaker and full business fluency in English

Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and a Driving License

Valid right to live and work in Italy

Location : The position can be both based in Milan or Genoa office Italy. No relocation or visa support available for this role.
