Job Summary

The Sales Representative Healthcare IT Solutions is the commercial reference for managing new opportunities and related clients in the IT sector. They establish consulting and mutual collaboration relationships with clients. The role requires specific expertise in the BU HITS products, understanding how these can be integrated into the workflows of Clinical Pathology Laboratories and Healthcare Information Systems. The Sales Representative leads or supports the sales team in identifying prospects and executing commercial actions related to highly complex technological and project-based solutions. They possess knowledge of the target market, competition, and product positioning of BU HITS relative to competitors.

The role involves collaboration with the BU HITS Marketing Team to promote and present IT solutions and supporting the Operations Team in managing sold solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Manage commercial activities to achieve the BU HITS budget objectives.
  2. Identify potential commercial strategies to meet market needs.
  3. Research new opportunities and identify strategic clients to develop business and enhance the company's image.
  4. Propose new functionalities, products, and services to increase revenue based on installed base.
  5. Support the BU HITS Marketing Team in activities related to tenders, including technical and economic proposal preparation.
  6. Define offers for new opportunities, product extensions, and maintenance contracts for sold systems.
  7. Ensure profitability of commercial operations through direct involvement in the ZGPM flow.
  8. Maintain contacts with Key Opinion Leaders among clients and partners.
  9. Gather prospects from the diagnostic product sales force to expand BU HITS' business.
  10. Collect and catalog competitor data for CRM input.
  11. Maintain relationships with partner companies for complementary supplies.

Networking/Key Relationships

Internal: BU HITS Marketing and Operations Teams, Sales, Service, Tenders Office, Finance, Control, Quality Assurance, Human Resources.

External: Clients, Suppliers, Key Opinion Leaders, Sales and Service Agencies.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree in a scientific field
  • Project Management skills
  • Specific IT technical/commercial knowledge
  • Market, competition, and client knowledge
  • Understanding of reference products and technologies
  • Economic-financial knowledge (P&L, budget, costs, margins, HTA, etc.)
  • Organizational knowledge (roles, processes, etc.)
  • Office Suite, SAP, CRM proficiency
  • English proficiency: B2/C1 level
