Job Summary

The Sales Representative Healthcare IT Solutions is the commercial reference for managing new opportunities and related clients in the IT field. They establish advisory and collaborative relationships, possessing specific expertise in the BU HITS products. They identify how these products can be integrated into the workflows of Clinical Pathology Laboratories and Healthcare Information Systems. They lead or support the sales team in prospecting and executing complex technological and project-based solutions, understanding the market, competitors, and product positioning relative to the competition. They collaborate with the BU HITS Marketing team for promotion activities and support the Operations team in managing sold solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Manage commercial activities to achieve BU HITS budget objectives.
  2. Identify strategic commercial strategies to meet market needs.
  3. Research new opportunities and target strategic clients for business development and brand image enhancement.
  4. Identify potential revenue growth opportunities based on installed base by proposing new functionalities, products, and services.
  5. Support the BU HITS Marketing team in tender responses, technical, and economic proposals.
  6. Define offers for new opportunities, product extensions, and maintenance contracts.
  7. Ensure profitability of commercial operations through direct involvement in the ZGP process.
  8. Maintain contacts with Key Opinion Leaders among clients and partners.
  9. Gather prospects from the diagnostic product sales force to expand BU HITS business.
  10. Collect and catalog competitor data for CRM updates.
  11. Maintain relationships with partner companies for complementary supplies.

Networking/Key Relationships

Internal: BU HITS Marketing and Operations teams, Sales, Services, Tender Office, Finance, Control, Quality Assurance, Human Resources.

External: Clients, Suppliers, Key Opinion Leaders, Sales and Service Agencies.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree in a scientific field.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Specific IT technical/commercial knowledge.
  • Understanding of the market, competitors, and clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant products and technologies.
  • Economic and financial knowledge (P&L, budget, costs, margins, HTA, etc.).
  • Understanding of organizational roles and processes.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite, SAP, CRM.
  • English level B2/C1.
