Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Diabetes Care Italy Team.

Primary Objective of Position

Increase sales and market share of Abbott Diabetes Care products through the sale of all available diabetes products. Responsible for achieving sales plans within the assigned territory.

Major Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement plans to create sales, maintain, and expand ADC business.
  • Stay current on internal and competitive products and positioning.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and visit them regularly.
  • Collaborate with Distributors and their agents on pharmacy projects.
  • Write weekly reports on customer visits.
  • Convey information professionally and accurately.
  • Have experience and maturity in the glucose monitoring marketplace.
  • Ensure all activities comply with quality system requirements.
Education

Degree in biology, pharmacy, or economics with 3-5 years of experience.

Background
  • Knowledge of Abbott Diabetes Care products, applications, and competitors.
  • Familiarity with Abbott procedures, policies, and code of conduct.
  • Basic knowledge of English.
  • Proficiency with standard software packages.
  • Understanding of sales strategies and techniques.
