Our Sales & Distribution team, under new leadership, offers a dynamic environment focused on progressiveness, purpose, achievable ambitions, and growth for the airline. With ambitious plans to achieve by 2030, we have a clear vision and strategy to not only meet but exceed our bold goals. In this role, you will perform, coordinate, and execute sales activities for assigned accounts, monitor the market and competitors to ensure sales targets are met, contributing to Etihad’s profitability. You will also establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective accounts to generate revenue using modern nurturing techniques. Regular communication and meetings with accounts will inform them about new products, services, and promotions to increase sales and reach targets. Build your reputation as a ‘trusted advisor’ to ensure long-lasting, fruitful relationships with major accounts.

Accountabilities

  • Research, analyze, and share competitor, market, and industry information to define the best sales approach to increase Etihad’s market share and visibility.
  • Collaborate with global sales enablement to determine effective promotion and sales techniques.
  • Regularly meet with accounts to inform about new products and promotions, ensuring the most current value proposals are communicated timely.
  • Draft and coordinate contractual agreements with accounts, ensuring customer requirements are captured effectively and in compliance with policies.
  • Engage with regional and headquarters stakeholders.
  • Represent Etihad in client meetings and external events when required.
  • Lead country or regional commercial projects as defined by the department.
  • Develop and execute sales activity plans to ensure targets are achieved, utilizing all available tools and insights from Sales Strategy and Planning.
  • Analyze market potential to assess the value of existing and prospective customers and convert opportunities into revenue using the sales toolkit.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Relevant commercial and analytical experience.
  • Understanding of strategic topics and project prioritization, with the ability to present information effectively to different audiences.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and establish new business relationships within the corporate segment.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across departments to achieve goals.
  • Strong sales acumen, customer service excellence, and industry knowledge to effectively represent the airline and drive revenue.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Legal right to work and reside in Italy.
