Overview:
As a Sales Representative for the Modern Mass Market Channel, reporting directly to our In-Store Manager, you will be responsible for developing product visibility and ensuring future business through prospecting within the sales area Veneto & Emilia-Romagna.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Visit a defined number of stores within your area to develop the market share of BIC products across Stationery, Lighters, and Shavers categories.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with existing customers and expand the distribution of BIC products in line with the sales policy.
  • Ensure continuous business growth through prospecting within your sales area.
  • Optimize product visibility on shelves and improve the general presentation of the BIC brand to increase sales.
  • Increase BIC's share of space and visibility during promotional events.
  • Process orders via Siebel for both permanent ranges and promotional offers.
  • Manage shelf presentation, ensuring products are clean and well-presented.
  • Introduce new products and negotiate features in customer catalogues and promotional flyers where applicable.
  • Promote and take orders for both permanent assortments and seasonal campaigns (BTS).
  • Monitor retail prices and labels in stores.
  • Manage the COOP budget per customer to maximize its use.
  • Advise local buyers and store managers about our product assortments, market trends, and competitors, providing professional support for category development.
  • Maintain constant communication with Marketing & Customer Service departments, staying alert to market changes and competitor activities.
  • Follow a personal routing plan based on the “BIC Italy Field Sales Model,” including minimum daily visits, weekly planning, and daily reporting through Siebel.
  • Ensure full-time presence in the field, except for meetings, administrative tasks, or training days.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Proficiency in English and PC skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Driving License
  • Team player and result-oriented
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in FMCG, is a plus
