Job Description:

Objectives:

  • Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new clients in Italy, collaborating closely with the company’s management.
  • Serve as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
  • Provide offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
  • Report to the Sales Director Europe.

Main Activities:

  • Develop sales strategies for the company's products tailored to customer needs.
  • Gather all information necessary for preparing sales contracts.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to recommend suitable solutions for customers.
  • Seek new business opportunities, particularly in replacing Polyamide compounds.
  • Negotiate sales terms in agreement with management.
  • Manage customer rates and records.
  • Issue material samples and testing requests for the laboratory.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure proper application of contracts and achieve sales targets with customers.
  • Identify and manage customer risks, financial risks, and delivery issues.
  • Act as an interface between customers and internal teams including management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
  • Support technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
  • Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during meetings.

Your profile:

  • Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Deep understanding of company’s technical capabilities and product advantages.
  • Knowledge of the plastics industry and processing, especially injection molding, with proven account management success.
  • Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
  • Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate customer issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
