Objectives:
- Responsible for negotiating with previously defined customers and prospecting for new customers in Italy, in close collaboration with the company’s management.
- Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
- Deliver offers / quotes to existing and prospective customers.
- Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities:
- Define the sales strategy for the company's various products to its customers.
- Gather all necessary information for preparing sale contracts.
- Coordinate with the technical team to propose the most suitable solutions for customers.
- Seek new business opportunities, especially related to replacing Polyamide compounds.
- Negotiate the best sale terms in agreement with company management.
- Manage and record customer rates.
- Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes with customers.
- Identify and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and structural changes.
- Act as an interface between customers and internal teams including management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
- Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
- Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during management exchanges and sales meetings.
Your profile:
- Knowledge and effective use of various sales and negotiation techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
- Good understanding of the plastics industry and plastics processing, especially injection molding, with a proven track record in account management.
- Analytical mindset with adaptability to changing market conditions.
- Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate potential customer problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments and levels.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
