Job Description:
Objectives:
- Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new customers in Italy, in collaboration with the company’s management.
- Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
- Deliver offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
- Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities:
- Define sales strategies for various products.
- Gather information for sale contracts.
- Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities, especially in replacing Polyamide compounds.
- Negotiate sales terms with management approval.
- Manage customer rates and records.
- Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes.
- Identify and manage customer and financial risks, delivery issues, and structural changes.
- Serve as an interface between customers and various company departments.
- Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
- Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during management and sales meetings.
Your profile:
- Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
- Knowledge of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
- Experience in plastics industry and processing, especially injection moulding, with successful account management.
- Analytical skills and adaptability to market changes.
- Strong decision-making and problem mitigation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across departments.
- Effective time management and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
