Job Description:

Objectives:

  • Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new customers in Italy, in collaboration with the company’s management.
  • Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
  • Deliver offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
  • Report to the Sales Director Europe.

Main Activities:

  • Define sales strategies for various products.
  • Gather information for sale contracts.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, especially in replacing Polyamide compounds.
  • Negotiate sales terms with management approval.
  • Manage customer rates and records.
  • Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes.
  • Identify and manage customer and financial risks, delivery issues, and structural changes.
  • Serve as an interface between customers and various company departments.
  • Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
  • Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during management and sales meetings.

Your profile:

  • Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Knowledge of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
  • Experience in plastics industry and processing, especially injection moulding, with successful account management.
  • Analytical skills and adaptability to market changes.
  • Strong decision-making and problem mitigation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across departments.
  • Effective time management and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
