The role involves negotiating with customers, defining sales strategies, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Objectives:
- Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new customers in Italy, in collaboration with the company’s management.
- Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
- Deliver offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
- Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities:
- Define sales strategies for the company's products.
- Gather information for sale contracts.
- Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
- Seek new business opportunities, especially in replacing Polyamide compounds.
- Negotiate sales terms with management's approval.
- Manage customer rates and records.
- Issue sample and test requests for the laboratory.
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes.
- Identify and manage customer, financial, and delivery risks.
- Serve as an interface between customers and various company departments.
- Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
- Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during management and sales meetings.
Your profile:
- Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
- Knowledge of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
- Experience in the plastics industry, especially injection moulding, with successful account management.
- Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
- Strong decision-making skills to identify and resolve customer issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments.
- Good time management and self-motivation.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
