Job Description:

Huntsman is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Sales Manager with a strong background in the specialty chemicals sector to lead account management and drive business development for our Advanced Materials division within the Power & Electrical sector across Southern Europe.

This is an exciting full-time, permanent, home-based role. You will report to the Sales Leader Power & Electrical EMEA and will be responsible for expanding our market presence and achieving growth objectives across the Southern Europe region.

As the Sales Manager, you will:

  1. Act as a main customer contact for technical, sales, and pricing topics for entrusted accounts.
  2. Manage and expand a portfolio of customers across Europe, ensuring financial and commercial growth targets are met.
  3. Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships with key customers in Power & Electrical.
  4. Manage customer opportunities: build and follow up on product introductions with customers, ensuring growth and timely execution.
  5. Negotiate sales contracts, terms, and conditions according to prices approved by Huntsman and in line with current regulations and procedures.
  6. Actively manage credit performance and take corrective action within business guidelines; support certification and promotion activities.
  7. Collect market and competitor information and maintain a market review.
  8. Participate in cross-functional projects.

Requirements:

  1. Degree qualified with previous experience in both account management and new business development within the specialty chemicals sector.
  2. Strong communicator with proven business development skills and a passion for identifying new opportunities.
  3. Experience in the electricity transmission/distribution equipment manufacturing industry is a major asset but not essential.
  4. Entrepreneurial, results-driven, autonomous, with strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  5. Fluency in Spanish and/or Italian is essential.
  6. Fluency in English is required.
