Job Summary
Business development and sales for process equipment, process skids/modules, turnkey modular facilities, front-end engineering, and other designated products and services. Multi-international and cross communication with the company Operations in Sweden, China and the US.
Direct reporting to the Italy General Manager.
Job Responsibilities and tasks
- Being the main responsible person for the Business Development and sales activities in Southern Europe
- Identifying, qualifying and pursuing sales opportunities and projects in Southern Europe
- Scheduling and performing customer visits
- Organising and performing customer visits to company’s engineering and manufacturing sites
- Giving convincing sales presentations to managers and decision makers in the client’s organisations
- Identifying and mapping the decision making process and the decision makers & influencers within the customer organisations
- Being the driving force for the whole sales process, from first contact to contract, in accordance with company’s routines
- Leading the internal and external work, from a commercial perspective, in relation to the development of proposals and communication/negotiation with the clients, with the joint support from other colleagues and company departments.
- Developing internal presentations for commercial project reviews
- Developing sales contracts together with commercial and project teams
- Providing the necessary support during the project execution, to successfully deliver projects for our customers
- Developing strategies, sales activity plans for the Southern European market and annual reviews together with the General Manager
- Participating in and contributing to the development and implementation of the Marketing Plan
- Participating in exhibitions, seminars and conferences
- Maintaining continuous contact with the clients during the project execution
- Arranging reference visits for potential clients to projects already delivered by the company
- Other sales related activities.
Qualifications and skills required
- MSc/BSc or equivalent in mechanical or chemical engineering/pharmaceutical/ biotech engineering or similar.
- 7+ years working experience, with a minimum of +5 years in sales experience in LifeScience Industries
- Documented experience in direct sales B2B of capital equipment, projects and/or engineering services
- International experience (either academical or international working environments) working with international customers
- Having a well-established network within the Life Sciences Industry is a plus
- Language skills: Italian and fluent English are a must. Other European languages (French, German, Spanish…) or Chinese, are a plus
- High self-confidence and high energy level
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Solution finder and entrepreneurship skills
- Hands- on and result-oriented attitudes
- Ability to travel locally and internationally
Working hours: full time from Monday to Friday with the possibility of some days of remote working
Employment Terms:
- CCNL for the Metalmeccanico sector; level and RAL will be commensurate with the candidate's experience
- Lunch ticket €8,00 per work-day + Annual Bonus according to performance
- Permanent contract directly with the company
