Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the existing customer portfolio, ensuring strong and lasting client relationships
- Oversee the full lifecycle of customer accounts, with support from the customer service team
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence
- Prepare and analyze sales reports and forecasts, leveraging advanced Excel functionalities (including pivot tables)
- Regularly visit clients across Italy, optimizing weekly travel schedules to maximize efficiency
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and addressing their needs effectively
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the commodities sector
- Native Italian; fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Office Automation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word). Proficiency in Excel: including creating and analyzing pivot tables and managing detailed reports.
Must be a very positive person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
