This role involves leading complex sales projects, developing custom solutions, and working closely with international teams. Ideal candidates will have a strong engineering or business background, along with proven experience in negotiations for large-scale projects.

Competenze

  • Several years of experience in offering and selling large complex products or solutions.
  • Proven experience in commercial and technical negotiations of large-scale projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of power plant technology, gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators.

  • Lead sales projects from pre-acquisition to contract handover.

We are looking for a

SALES MANAGER – New Units Sales

As New Units Sales Manager for Italy and South Europe, he / she will be responsible for the development, offering and negotiation up to contract signature and hand over to project management team for the assigned area or customers. He / she will report directly to the Area Sales Director Italy, Mediterranean, South Europe and Africa.

Main Responsibilities

  • From pre-acquisition over acquisition and tendering to negotiation and handover to execution you will lead sales projects on an international basis;
  • Develop customized solutions with the support of our tender and engineering organization;
  • Work in close cooperation with the commercial team to collect all the information needed to prepare competitive offers;
  • Represent the sales projects and Ansaldo Energia externally and drive the sales projects along internal processes with special focus on selling strategy, contract negotiation and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, or business administration along with several years of experience in offering and selling large complex products or solutions;
  • Proven experience in commercial and technical negotiations of large-scale projects;
  • Knowledge of power plants technology, main products such as gas turbines, steam turbines and generators;
  • Ability to work within international teams, under pressure and in challenging situations;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Excellent knowledge of English, preferably Italian as mother language.

Location Genoa or Milan.
