Un hôtel de luxe recherche un Sales Manager pour développer ses activités principalement via des ventes B2B, surtout dans le segment MICE. Le candidat idéal aura une expérience en vente dans le secteur hôtelier et sera capable de travailler de manière autonome tout en soutenant l'esprit d'équipe. Doté d'un réseau solide et d'excellentes compétences en communication, il contribuera à atteindre des objectifs de vente ambitieux.

Competenze

  • Expérience minimum de 2 ans dans la vente, idéalement dans l'hôtellerie.
  • Capacité à travailler sous pression et respecter des délais serrés.
  • Excellentes compétences en présentation et en communication en italien et en anglais.

JOB SUMMARY :

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing business through direct sales solicitation, securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and executing tactical sales plans through a result-driven approach. S / he can secure target results in the primarily assigned B2B segments (mainly MICE), giving a significant contribution to achieving sales objectives.

In his / her market, the Sales Manager will engage in the main strategic national and international sales activities, in the regional and local market, in line with the commercial plan. S / he has a solid network and will manage a proper action plan and customer-centric approach, overseeing an own account portfolio.

MAIN ACTIVITIES :

  • Identifies new or existing markets / accounts that meet properties sales strategy;
  • Develops a sales action plan to generate business from identified markets / accounts;
  • Determines the account's needs and marketing activities of each assigned market / account;
  • Monitors performance of the account portfolio and takes actions accordingly;
  • Maintains and develops the RFPs together with Marriott Global Sales Offices;
  • Executes regular analysis of the current market situation and competitors;
  • Attends commercial meetings and translates revenue analyses of the Hotels in his / her market into sales activities;
  • Plans and executes office visits and site inspections to increase visibility & brand awareness and to generate new leads / business for the assigned segments;
  • Uses internal reports and external sales tools to generate new leads / business for specific segments;
  • Organizes and actively participates in travel agents familiarization trips, sales trips, and road shows.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality;
  • Minimum of 2 years Sales experience in the hotel industry or similar industries, preferably with international brands and in the MICE segment;
  • In possession of a driver’s license;
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in Italian and English, and preferably a second language;
  • Excellent speaking, listening, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team;
  • Diplomacy and ability to effectively deal with management, clients, and team;
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines;
  • Has the right hunting profile to seek new business opportunities;
  • Team player : s / he will be a role model for teamwork and encourage a positive team play;
