Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, communicative, and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead our commercial efforts in Italy and Eastern Europe. This role is ideal for someone with a strong network in the local nutrition and health ingredients market, who thrives on building relationships and driving growth.

You will be responsible for promoting and selling our portfolio of branded, clinically proven nutritional ingredients, expanding our customer base, and managing and nurturing a select group of existing key accounts to ensure long-term satisfaction and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Solabia Nutrition’s branded ingredients across the Italian and Eastern European market.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with nutraceutical, dietary supplement, and functional food companies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, R&D teams, and procurement professionals.
  • Deliver technical and commercial support to customers, leveraging our clinical and scientific data.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, regulatory, R&D) to align on go-to-market strategies.
  • Contribute to annual sales planning and budgeting in coordination with the European Business Director

Your Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales within the nutritional ingredients, nutraceutical, or functional food sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Italian nutrition market and an existing professional network.
  • A scientific or technical background (degree in life sciences, nutrition, biology, or related field preferred).
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven with a “hunter” mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting and managing multiple priorities.
