Sales Manager Italy – Consumer Flexible Packaging

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate new customer relationships within the FMCG sector by providing value-added solution sales to meet their specific needs.
• Strengthen sales efforts and expand product portfolio within existing customer base to foster long term partnerships and drive growth.
• Drive the adoption of sustainable product offerings among existing customers.
• Proactively build and enhance the project sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities and maximize revenue potential.
• Engage in continuous learning and development by participating in available trainings on products, innovations, and sales tools to stay informed and competitive in the market.
• Foster close collaboration with European plants, aligning on quotations, monitoring customer and project statuses, and contributing to plant strategies and market implementation plans.
• Maintain thorough communication with clients and projects through our CRM tool, ensuring accurate and timely updates, and providing comprehensive monthly reports and visit summaries.
• Take ownership of budgeting processes, effectively managing resources to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
• Represent the company at local exhibitions, leveraging these platforms to showcase products, network with industry peers, and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education background in Business or Chemicals

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development, specializing in flexible packaging for FMCG
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy
• Proactive, self-motivated, and organized team player, comfortable working remotely and adept at reporting.
