Job Description:

For a global leader in the packaging industry, we are looking for a Sales Manager Italy – Consumer Flexible Packaging.

Responsibilities:
  1. Cultivate new customer relationships within the FMCG sector by providing value-added solution sales to meet their specific needs.
  2. Strengthen sales efforts and expand the product portfolio within the existing customer base to foster long-term partnerships and drive growth.
  3. Drive the adoption of sustainable product offerings among existing customers.
  4. Proactively build and enhance the project sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities and maximize revenue potential.
  5. Participate in training on products, innovations, and sales tools to stay informed and competitive.
  6. Collaborate with European plants on quotations, monitor customer and project statuses, and contribute to plant strategies and market plans.
  7. Maintain thorough communication with clients and projects through our CRM, ensuring accurate updates and providing monthly reports and visit summaries.
  8. Manage budgeting processes to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  9. Represent the company at local exhibitions to showcase products, network, and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Educational background in Business or Chemicals
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development, specializing in flexible packaging for FMCG
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized team player, comfortable working remotely, and adept at reporting.
