Descrizione del lavoro

Travelzoo has an opening for a Sales Manager [Hotels], ITALY (m/f/d). This position, based in Milan, will report to the Head of Sales, Hotels. In this role, you are responsible for accelerating our growth in the assigned territories managing the Company’s current Italian hotel client portfolios as well as generating new business.

Do you feel…

  1. Keen to source, negotiate and close outstanding deals on behalf of Travelzoo members worldwide by cold calling and direct sales
  2. Able to consultatively sell Travelzoo portfolio of online distribution solutions (rates, CPC, CPA and fixed fee)
  3. Motivated to develop outstanding relationships with premium hotels and hotel chains in the assigned territory, both via telephone and in person during sales trips to Italy, to be sold in all Travelzoo markets
  4. Driven to meet or exceed quarterly sales goals, through account development and new business
  5. Confident to work with colleagues in Europe and North America to ensure that opportunities are fully leveraged, and the very best content is secured
  6. Determined to establish strong internal relationships with key production and publishing stakeholders
  7. Capable of creating strategic territory plans to efficiently maximize sales opportunities
  8. Responsible to track the sales activity through the funnel in Salesforce
  9. Empowered to represent Travelzoo at client meetings, external conferences and events

You are ideally…

  1. Degree educated (or equivalent experience)
  2. A candidate with a proven track record of negotiating strong offers in the hotel sector
  3. Experienced working with a Sales CRM (i.e. Salesforce)
  4. Apt to work in a fast-paced, high growth work environment
  5. Skilled in planning, developing, and executing online sales strategies for hotels
  6. An excellent organisational and interpersonal communicator with emphasis on presentation, analytical and sales expertise, and negotiation techniques
  7. Able to achieve results while working independently
  8. Knowledgeable of the online travel/media publishing industry
  9. A hands-on team player with a self-starter attitude
  10. Fluent in Italian and English
