Our client is the European headquarters of a leading South Korean manufacturer of industrial electronics, with operations in Europe since 2009. The company is based in the Netherlands and has a subsidiary in Brescia, Italy. It specializes in the sales, logistics, technical support, and business development of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and automation products such as LV VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs. The Italian office serves as the first point of contact for a vast network of partners across Europe and is actively expanding its presence throughout the region.

The Position

To strengthen sales activities and enhance pre- and after-sales support, our client is seeking a Sales Manager / Associate. The role involves managing sales for existing customers, identifying and acquiring new partners, and providing both technical and commercial support. This position requires a combination of a strong commercial mindset and a technical background. Key responsibilities include :

  • Developing new customers (distributors / OEMs)
  • Providing commercial and technical support to distributors and partners in Italy
  • Identifying and approaching potential customers
  • Handling inquiries and technical questions about the product portfolio
  • Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to engage key accounts
  • Providing daily reports on field sales performance and communicating VOC (Voice of Customer) data to the country manager
  • Performing other office-related tasks
  • Experience in a sales role focused on VFDs within the industrial automation or a related industry
  • Preferably a technical background in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Automation
  • Knowledge and experience with frequency inverters, PLCs, HMIs, and servo systems
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to provide technical advice for customer-specific applications
  • Native Italian speaker with fluency in English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus
  • Positive, independent, and flexible attitude
  • Strong commercial insight and excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
