We are looking for a Sales Manager – focused on Data Center Solutions to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Electrification and Automation Business Unit, Smart Infrastructure.

As part of the Electrification and Automation Sales team, the Sales Manager – focused on Data Center Solutions will develop and implement growth strategies for data centers and pursue new large customer opportunities across multiple verticals nationally and cross-border.

The Sales Manager – focused on Data Center Solutions will be responsible for selling services and products, leveraging technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence and assist customers, resulting in revenue generation.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Setting long-term revenue and growth goals for the data center market segment and developing strategies to meet these goals. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers across the data center solutions portfolio.
  • Managing opportunities with large customers and investors, adopting an integrated approach to enhance positioning in the data center segment, and selling complex solutions across functions and borders.
  • Identifying and fostering relationships with complementary product manufacturers, partners, and internal units to develop solutions aligned with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Conducting research to understand segmentation, customer base, market size, and competitors in the data center market.
  • Monitoring regulatory and legislative policies to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Using Salesforce and other tools to track sales metrics effectively and consistently.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
  • Proven B2B sales experience in the industry and management experience in sales or marketing within the data center sector.
  • Creative in designing solutions with cross-functional teams.
  • Commercially savvy with strategic thinking skills.
  • Passionate about continuous growth.
  • Respectful and collaborative, willing to share knowledge.
  • Proficient in English and Italian.
  • Eligible to work in Italy.
