A leading company in wireless connectivity solutions is seeking a Sales Manager for the Defense/Public Safety sector in Pavia. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in System Integration and a proven track record in sales expansion. Responsibilities include building customer relationships, developing market strategies, and ensuring high standards in sales processes. Fluency in English and Italian is essential, with additional languages being a plus.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and maintain customer relationships within target market segments.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and partnerships to achieve significant business outcomes.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of potential customers and deals.
  • Onboard anchor customers with innovative commercial and business models.
  • Present in-depth technical knowledge of our propositions and roadmap, especially around Defense and public safety.

Responsibilities, Objectives, and Duties:

  • Define market strategies and goals for each product and service, aligned with account strategies.
  • Meet and exceed booking, margin, and revenue targets.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Set sales strategies in relevant areas, creating and executing plans to drive growth.
  • Develop new value propositions, use cases, and campaigns.
  • Identify decision-makers within businesses to find new opportunities, adopting innovative prospecting approaches.
  • Evaluate and recommend product and service enhancements to increase value.
  • Manage and prepare formal proposals and presentations, negotiate, and close sales professionally.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technical developments, and regulations affecting target markets.
  • Utilize and maintain the CRM database accurately and regularly.
  • Maintain a strong hunting mindset.

Qualifications and Education:

  • 5+ years of experience in System Integration for IoT/Telco/Networking, preferably within the Defense Market.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian; knowledge of Spanish, French, or German is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in expanding sales within Defense/Public Safety environments.
  • Established relationships with MOD/MOI in Europe.
  • Understanding of public sector procurement processes.
