We are looking for a UK-based Sales Manager & Business Developer to join our international team.
As Sales Manager & Business Developer you will be responsible for the active expansion and support of one sales region in Europe, the direct and indirect sales of our Smart Factory software solutions (Web2Print, ERP/MIS, Workflow, RIP), the development of a partner network and the achievement of your sales and business development targets.
Main Tasks
- Sales strategy & sales responsibility: Development and implementation of a regional sales plan to achieve sales targets of the Durst Smart Factory portfolio.
- New customer acquisition & solution selling: Acquisition of new customers with a focus on ERP/MIS and workflow solutions as well as conducting demos and technical workshops.
- Channel management: Establishment, qualification and further development of a high-performance reseller and dealer network including training and co-selling activities.
- Cooperation with Hardware Sales: Supporting the Durst Hardware Sales team in sales activities, conducting sales training and accompanying customer demonstrations.
- Customer support & performance monitoring: Maintaining strategic customer relationships, regular checks and monitoring of software licenses with corresponding action planning.
- Market & competitive analysis: Continuous analysis of market trends, customer needs and competitive developments to optimize sales approaches and product positioning as well as forecasting and reporting to management.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in software sales (5+ years), ideally in the printing industry with focus on ERP/MIS and workflow solutions.
- Strong consulting skills and technical understanding in dealing with complex software.
- Based in the United Kingdom with valid work authorization.
- Fluency in English; other European languages an advantage.
- Independent, proactive way of working with a high level of self-motivation and team orientation.
- Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 40%).
