The Role :

Sales Managers are primarily responsible for achieving club membership sales targets, whilst training, mentoring, and managing Membership Consultants daily. Additionally, this role will assist the Club General Manager with daily operational procedures and meetings. We will also provide development training on various procedures and operations to prepare you for a future Club General Manager position within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve new membership sales targets set by the Club Manager and Directors.
• Provide training, mentoring, and support to Membership Consultants, encouraging creative and varied techniques to generate leads.
• Utilize internal software systems like Clubware, Debit Success, and Gym Sales to ensure internal procedures are followed.
• Implement internal and external marketing strategies, including social media, SMS, email blasts, B2B outreach, community events, and other lead generation activities.
• Manage and use social media as per provided guidelines.
• Support the Club General Manager as needed.
• Plan and execute external lead generation activities, including B2B outreach and community events.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Previous sales experience, preferably in the fitness industry, but not mandatory.
• A financially motivated individual with a drive to meet targets and team goals.
• Experience in a KPI-driven environment with proactive lead generation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse people and support their goals.
• Problem-solving skills and resilience.
• Excellent communication skills — listening, understanding, empathizing, and influencing.
• Customer-focused attitude aiming for exceptional outcomes.
• Ability to model health values and demonstrate passion for the gym brand.
• A positive, proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow.
• Reliability, professionalism, punctuality, and presentation.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to advance within the company.
• Team player with multitasking ability and initiative.
• Computer literacy and adaptability to new systems.
• Ability to communicate and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Australian working rights.
