Role Overview

The Sales Manager Auto TPE is responsible for managing TPE sales across European countries, focusing on increasing sales and EBITDA. The role supports the growth of our automotive business and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, leading resources such as TS&D, CSR, Supply Chain, and Product Management to effectively manage customer relationships and communication.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including influencers, decision makers, and sponsors.
  • Analyze customer needs and proactively address issues, working collaboratively to solve problems.
  • Utilize knowledge of customer needs and product offerings to develop account strategies, prioritize initiatives for market share growth, and monitor progress through regular reporting.
  • Manage the sales process, including contracts, pricing, volume commitments, rebates, credit management, and forecasting, using tools like Salesforce.
  • Gather market intelligence to understand customer organizations, competitors, trends, and future needs, sharing insights internally to drive revenue and value.

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • 5+ years in sales or technical sales roles, ideally 10 years
  • Location: Italy or Germany
  • At least 3 years of experience in the plastics industry
  • Over 5 years of experience in the automotive sector
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and business acumen skills
  • Reliable, proactive, results-oriented, and accurate in forecasting
  • Ability to manage opportunities and coordinate internally
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering effective presentations
  • Knowledge of the automotive market, including macro trends and environment
