Sales Manager – 5* Curio Collection by Hilton
For the 5* hotel in Florence, branded Curio Collection by Hilton, we are seeking a Sales Manager who will report directly to the General Manager. The role involves identifying cooperation opportunities and increasing sales in the transient and business groups segments. The position requires domestic travel and attendance at trade fairs and roadshows to promote the hotel.
The Sales Manager will lead the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
The role aims to proactively position and market the property, manage the marketing budget, and develop campaigns, promotions, and collateral to drive revenue and meet business objectives. The Sales Manager will collaborate with brand and revenue management teams to maximize RevPAR, grow market share, and improve STR metrics.
Key responsibilities include managing daily sales activities, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring the delivery of products and services that meet or exceed guest expectations and provide a return on investment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Commercial
- Activate, penetrate, and animate the hotel’s account portfolio, seeking cooperation opportunities to increase sales.
- Develop strategies to solicit new and existing accounts to meet revenue goals.
- Coordinate with Key Account Directors regarding hotel needs and follow RFPs to generate sales.
- Acquire accounts through targeted activities, focusing on large to medium-sized businesses.
- Involve the General Manager in key account activities.
- Prepare and analyze monthly production figures for various segments.
- Utilize the customer database proactively.
- Contribute to planning and executing strategies in transient and group segments, identifying new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support long-term stability.
- Understand market dynamics and customer needs to ensure property success.
- Organize information systematically to identify issues and develop solutions.
People
- Collaborate with hotel, brand, and corporate teams for smooth daily operations.
- Follow SOPs and guidelines to ensure consistency within the team.
