For a 5-star Luxury Hotel in Milan, we’re looking for a Sales Manager .

You will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and be responsible for :

  • Managing proactively and scouting business opportunities to contribute to overall hotel revenue.
  • Promoting and communicating the hotel’s identity and unique selling points, establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant clients in the sales segment, and working to meet sales targets.
  • Soliciting and developing new business from identified market segments and sources.
  • Identifying new sources of business based on economic trends and opportunities.
  • Retaining business by adhering to established retention strategies.
  • Representing the hotel at trade shows and sales missions to maintain relationships with key accounts, scout new ones, and contribute to revenue opportunities.
  • Inputting client data accurately and timely into hotel systems and tools.
  • Reviewing selected segments and accounts with the Director of Sales & Marketing to identify opportunities.
  • Liaising with the Groups & Event Sales Manager to drive business to the segment.
  • Monitoring activities of competitor hotels.
  • Providing market feedback to tailor hotel strategies.
  • Assisting in developing strategies to increase sales and productivity.
  • Ensuring timely completion of reports and correspondence in liaison with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Supporting the implementation of the annual Sales Business Plan.
  • Handling incoming sales inquiries appropriately.
  • Executing sales solicitation strategies for targeted markets.
  • Collaborating with the reservations department to ensure correct handling of booking inquiries.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Specialization in EU and LATAM markets.
  • Experience in Luxury Hospitality.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
