Overview

Our client, a Global Pharmaceutical company with Italian HQ based in Milan, is looking for a:

Sales Manager

The candidate will have the responsibility of directing the growth, leading a team in alignment with global and regional strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Will leads and inspire a team of Key Account Managers and Marketing
  • Oversee product lifecycle management—from launch planning and pricing to promotional execution
  • Ensure successful market access and tender management processes
  • Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, payers, and regulatory authorities
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and policy changes to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Uphold the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 3+ years in a commercial leadership role
  • Proven success in launching and managing pharmaceutical products
  • Deep understanding of the local healthcare system, regulatory landscape, and market access strategies
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Availability for frequent business trips
  • Fluency in Italian and English
