RDM Group is looking for a Sales Manager to join the Sales WLC Team based in Milan, Italy.
Reporting to the Head of Sales WLC South Europe & Overseas, the Area Sales Manager is responsible for:
- Selling RDM recycled cartonboard products in North and Central Italy to existing and new customers.
- Defining and implementing the Sales Region business strategy aligned with profitability objectives and regional directives.
- Collaborating with Liner Mills to achieve P&L targets and acting as the interface between mills, customers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the plant's budget, including tonnage and pricing targets.
- Selling to assigned customers to meet budget goals.
- Building relationships with decision-makers and analyzing sales gaps for corrective actions.
- Supporting customer deliveries and long-term strategic deployment.
- Managing key customer relationships, negotiations, and business development.
- Ensuring high customer service standards and coordinating with Supply Chain, Mills, and Customers.
- Developing market knowledge and providing insights on trends.
- Organizing factory visits and optimizing customer processing.
- Managing stock levels to reduce Working Capital and monitoring budget deviations.
- Coordinating with Credit and Regional Sales Managers on credit policies and payment issues.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business.
- At least 3-5 years of sales experience in Paperboard or Converting industries.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
