We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and ambitious Sales Manager to join our talented team in Milan.

About the role

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading Otovo’s B2C growth in Italy and managing a team of sales representatives.

Your responsibilities
  1. Identify customer needs, create pitches targeted to the Italian market, understand and monitor the competitive landscape;
  2. Lead by example: build and execute ambitious sales targets, helping the team reach their goals;
  3. Train and coach incoming and existing sales representatives to help them succeed and grow;
  4. Set and help execute clear individual and team goals, plan activities, and develop country-specific sales procedures;
  5. Work closely with the Head of Sales to identify and implement successful strategies leading to higher conversion rates;
  6. Use analytical skills to analyze data and market trends to identify key actions and improve processes to help the team reach targets;
  7. Deliver on company KPIs and targets;
  8. Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure process sustainability and collective progress towards goals;
  9. Establish processes to scale up with new partners identified by the partnership team;
  10. Maintain continuous contact with peers in other markets to share and implement best practices;
  11. You and your team will be provided with qualified leads; no cold calling is required.
  12. Demonstrate a hands-on, proactive approach.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or customer success, preferably within renewable energy or construction;
  • Experience in team management;
  • University degree or professional commercial training;
  • Knowledge of CRM tools such as Hubspot;
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English;
  • Coaching and leadership skills;
  • Results-oriented mindset, with the courage to question the status quo and develop innovative solutions;

Hiring Process
