Sales Manager - Remote (m/f/d)

Nordson Global Nonwoven, a leading provider of adhesive dispensing solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team in Italy as a Sales Manager (m/f/d) to serve the region of Pescara and Southern Italy. Summary Of The Role

As a member of our team, the Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities in the designated region. The focus of this role is to create profitable growth by identifying customer needs and fulfilling these needs by providing and selling outstanding customer solutions. The successful postholder has a convincing personality with excellent analytical and communication skills as well as sales dedication for technical solutions combined with a strong customer passion. The Sales Manager reports to the Sales Director EMEA and closely collaborates with the 2nd line service team and the other sales managers.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Manage the whole sales process from customers acquisition, price and contract negotiation to follow-up and evaluate the customer experience
  • Support aftermarket strategies to increase customer satisfaction and profitable revenue growth
  • Deployment of NBS Next to achieve profitable growth targets
  • Responsible for top customer relation management and development
  • Owns reporting to track all sales metrics and pipeline management
  • Continuous analysis of market and customer data as well as customer needs to optimize aftermarket activities
  • Maintains granular understanding of top account’s requirements, trends, risks, opportunities and satisfaction level
  • Work cross functionally with engineering and operations to help with customer opportunities, resolve issues, planning, etc.
  • Work closely with marketing to support development of sales strategies, tools and tactics to drive sales
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration
  • 5+ years experience and deep understanding in sales and key account management within industry
  • Experience with top customer/contract negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Italian)
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent selling skills required to identify and close opportunities
  • Strong customer passion
  • Good problem solving, analytical and business skills
  • “Getting things done” attitude and strong owner-mindset
  • Proficiency in critical technologies (MS Office, SAP, CRM tools, etc.)
  • Frequent business travels within the region (up to 50%)
