ASSOS of Switzerland is seeking a Sales Manager for the Central/Southern Italy market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new clients, managing and developing the dealer network, and ensuring that ASSOS dealers have the products, information, and skills necessary to support brand growth. The role covers regions including Emilia-Romagna, Toscana, Lazio, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria, Molise, Campania, Puglia, Sicilia, and Sardegna, reporting to the EU Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Serve as the main contact for retail partners, conduct regular visits (minimum 4 days a week on the field and 12 visits), and follow-up via phone as per schedule. Sell products, train retailers, utilize the sales cycle effectively, develop business plans with partners, and achieve sales KPIs. Prepare weekly reports and strategize with the manager.
  2. Order Management: Manage pre-orders, reorders, and backorders, supported by data analysis.
  3. Visual Merchandising: Implement merchandising strategies, collaborate with the In-Store Excellence team, and train store staff on maintaining branded spaces.
  4. Financial Planning and Monitoring: Manage seasonal sales campaigns, monitor sales and stock levels, ensure timely payments, and collaborate with the AR Finance team.
Additional Details

The role requires a dynamic sales professional who enjoys traveling, with a presence on-site at least 4 days a week and occasional international travel. Evening and weekend commitments may be necessary for supporting retailers and participating in industry events. The position is ideally based in Emilia-Romagna to cover Central/Southern Italy effectively.

Candidate Profile
  • Exceptional sales skills including contact development, order management, upselling, cross-selling, and client management.
  • Strong customer service, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent planning and analytical abilities, proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
  • Experience with enterprise management systems; knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of B2B CRM platforms like Salesforce is advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in cycling or outdoor sectors.
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong work ethic and results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of the ASSOS brand and passion for cycling.
  • Valid driving license.
