Nidec Conversion is hiring a Sales Manager MV Systems (Motors and Drives) for the Cinisello Balsamo site.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Tasks

• Understand the main end-user markets (O&G, Energy, Water treatment, Air compression) and equipment driven by the system (Turbines, Compressors, Pumps, Fans, etc.).
• Increase penetration of the existing customer base and seek new customers; arrange meetings with C-Level executives within customer organizations.
• Prepare commercial offers (budget and firm), including technical, financial, and legal risk assessments with support from the Proposal/Engineering team.
• Conduct technical presentations of the company's products.
• Achieve yearly order targets set at the beginning of the fiscal year.
• Update project statuses independently in the ERP system (Sales Force).
• Plan sales monthly and quarterly.
• Develop and implement sales plans and forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers (including factory teams) to ensure obligations to customers are met according to schedule.
• Engage with customers throughout the project lifecycle as needed, addressing issues and tasks, including sales of services for installed equipment.

Skills Requirements

• Higher technical education in a specialized field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales of Medium Voltage Systems (Motors + Drives) in similar companies.
• Proven success in acquiring new customers and increasing sales; existing customer relationships are a plus.
• Knowledge of economics, finance, general business processes, and contractual terms.

English - very fluent!
