Job Opportunity: Export Specialist - American Market Focus

Location: Pavia, Italy

Our client, a well-established Italian company recognized for innovation in its products, is seeking an Export Specialist with a focus on the American territory. This role aims to strengthen their structure and expand into global markets, particularly within the testing machinery division.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct scouting activities to identify new potential clients aligned with the commercial development plans.
2. Identify new agents and/or distributors and negotiate sales deals with potential clients.
3. Provide technical consultancy to strengthen existing relationships and develop customized solutions.
4. Engage in strategic commercial development in close collaboration with the Marketing department and technical office.
5. Support and monitor after-sales service, coordinating dedicated teams.
6. Create reports related to the assigned budget in collaboration with the Commercial Management and analyze market performance.
7. Bring previous experience in complex machinery, testing machines, or instrumentation, ideally in roles such as Export Manager or Foreign Sales Area Manager, with a technical background (preferably engineering degree or technical diploma).
8. Possess excellent proficiency in English and a second language, such as French or German, is a plus.
9. Demonstrate empathy, leadership, strong communication skills, operational autonomy, and effective organization of work and objectives.
10. Be available for travel, approximately 40% of the time.
