Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to achieve and exceed sales targets for the defined area, focusing on both new and existing business. You will be expected to drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring that sales objectives are consistently met.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and carry out direct sales activities to attain new accounts in accordance with agreed sales and business plans
  2. Develop new and prospective accounts while maintaining and growing existing accounts
  3. Develop a pipeline with a number of opportunities defined globally
  4. Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries and leads using appropriate methods within the specified time frame
  5. Provide input on market needs to product development
  6. Assist in preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQs, and quotations with customers
  7. Initiate and support professional customer implementation with all required parties
  8. Document sales activities as per global standards in CRM

Skills Required

  • Deep understanding of international freight forwarding
  • Proven track record to identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Highly engaging, innovative, and liable in finding solutions for the customer
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Persistent, determined, and resilient to achieve challenging goals
  • Fluent in Italian and English
