A leading security services company is seeking a Business Development Specialist to strengthen its presence in the oil & gas, energy, and maritime markets. This role involves creating business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field and have strong communication and negotiation skills, along with fluency in Italian and a good command of English.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager Italy, you will be an integral part of our organization. You will join a competent and engaging team committed to growing our business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  2. Identify market opportunities and potential clients.
  3. Plan and implement development initiatives.
  4. Create business opportunities aligned with company objectives.
  5. Work independently and within teams to achieve KPIs and revenue targets.
  6. Support the tender process within your territory, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
  7. Gain knowledge of market trends and demands through sector analysis and client interactions.
  8. Keep updated on the product portfolio.
  9. Record and manage data in the CRM system.
  10. Ensure daily work is performed safely and in accordance with A.P. Moller-Maersk values.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the energy or chemical sector is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility, especially adaptability to sudden changes to meet client needs.
Additional Qualifications
  • Fluent in Italian, both spoken and written.
  • Intermediate/advanced level of English.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driver's license and results-oriented, proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office.
  • Degree or diploma in a technical, economic, or related field.

The workplace will be at our Ravenna headquarters, with some travel within Italy. This position does not include expatriate or transfer packages.
