Mansioni

Analizzare e identificare opportunità nel bacino di utenza stabilito e contattare nuovi potenziali clienti per aprire e sviluppare il mercato.
Mantenere e qualificare il portafoglio clienti attivo, guidando la crescita di questi account.
Costruire forti relazioni con trasformatori, masterbatch, produttori di polimeri, produttori di film e altri converters della plastica.
Identificare tendenze di mercato, attività dei concorrenti e nuove opportunità commerciali.
Fornire previsioni di vendita, report di attività e intelligence di mercato in modo regolare.
Lavorare in stretta collaborazione con team tecnici, di produzione e servizio al cliente per garantire supporto eccellente.
Mantenere CRM accurato e monitorare le performance di pagamento dei clienti.
Rappresentare l’azienda a incontri con i clienti, fiere ed esposizioni in Europa

Sales Executive / Area Manager – Polymer Materials, Italy

Client Overview:

Our client is a well‑established manufacturer with an excellent reputation within the plastics industry. As a pioneer, the business has been supplying innovative solutions to polymer processors for decades and continues to enjoy strong growth across Europe and as a result is looking to strengthen its commercial presence across Italy.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will take ownership of the Italian markets, driving both new business development and the growth of existing customer relationships.

This is a strategic yet hands‑on commercial role, suited to someone who enjoys developing long‑term partnerships while identifying new market opportunities. You will work closely with internal technical and production teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers across the plastics industry.

Responsibilities:

Analysing and identifying opportunities within the established catchment area, as well as contacting and acquiring new prospects to open and develop the market.
Carrying out maintenance and loyalty‑building work for the active client portfolio, as well as driving the growth of these accounts.
Build strong relationships with compounders, masterbatch manufacturers, polymer processors, film producers and other plastics converters.
Identify market trends, competitor activity and new commercial opportunities.
Deliver regular sales forecasts, activity reports and market intelligence.
Work collaboratively with technical, production and customer service teams to ensure excellent customer support.
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage customer payment performance.
Represent the business at customer meetings, industry exhibitions and trade fairs throughout Europe

Person Specification:

Proven sales experience within the plastics, polymers, additives, masterbatch, compounding or related materials industries.
Strong track record of developing new business whilst managing strategic customer relationships.
Experience selling technical raw materials, compounds, concentrates or additives into plastics processing markets would be highly advantageous.
Commercially driven with excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
Fluent English is essential together with Italian. (other languages useful)
Comfortable travelling.
