THE OPPORTUNITY

As a high-performing Sales Engineer or Senior Sales Engineer, you will work with prospects and clients to craft enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions. This consultative role requires deep analytical and business process skills, along with the ability to create insightful solutions using Cyera’s technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Drive incremental revenue through large, complex sales opportunities that maximize Cyera’s capabilities and value proposition.
  2. Identify client business issues and desired outcomes, architecting solutions that utilize all of Cyera's products and services.
  3. Deliver, manage, and run proof of values (PoVs) and Use Case Demos (UCDs) on customer sites, consulting with key stakeholders and driving sales via technical demonstrations.
  4. Coordinate internal resources through cross-functional communication to support sales and build a sustainable, repeatable business model.
  5. Act as the technical point of contact for Cyera’s partner channels and represent Cyera at marketing events.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security roles such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of one or more major cloud providers (AWS and/or Azure preferred), especially roles, permissions, and APIs.
  • Understanding of data storage types, encryption techniques, key management, cloud IAM, and network design.
  • Basic knowledge of ML/AI, data regulatory frameworks, privacy, and data retention programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with SFDC and opportunity tracking.
  • Results-oriented with a desire to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking to address customer challenges.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and equity package. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and seniority. The role may be eligible for merit-based increases based on performance and other factors.
