Who we are looking for

As a Sales Engineer, you will support the commercial growth of Caracol by combining a solid technical background with the ability to translate customer needs into tailored service solutions. Operating in close alignment with the senior sales team, you will be involved in managing client relationships, preparing technical‑commercial offers, and driving the adoption of our advanced manufacturing services. A great fit for someone who blends technical expertise with the ability to understand others’ needs, engage clients, while showing curiosity, proactivity, and the willingness to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the acquisition of new customers, identifying opportunities and building client relationships through digital channels or in‑person visits.
  • Preparing technical and commercial proposals within the company CRM, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of sales documentation to guide customers, leveraging knowledge of AM and complementary manufacturing processes like CNC.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (application engineering, production, service) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a customer portfolio for the recurring review business originating from Caracol’s service assets.
  • Contribute to updating the company CRM and building internal flows to improve business efficiency.
  • Participate in fairs, events, and business development initiatives to promote Caracol’s offering.
Ideal Background
  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering/Technical field.
  • At least one year of experience in the 3D printing industry—CNC—Industrial Machinery.
  • Basic knowledge of Additive Manufacturing technologies; additional familiarity with complementary and traditional processes (CNC, composite lamination, thermoforming) is a plus.
  • Technical background combined with the ability to understand client needs and effectively support the sale of advanced services.
  • Basic Knowledge of CAD programs and viewers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Power Apps, and Power BI is considered a plus.
