An innovative IT company is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Milan, Italy. The role involves designing technical solutions for key clients, managing complex projects, and providing training. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years in a technical role within the IT or physical security sectors, a degree in computer science or engineering, and must be fluent in Italian and English.

As a Sales Engineer, your role contributes to the business growth by being responsible for all technical aspects with top system integrator, large end customers and consultants in close collaboration with the Sales team for the North of Italy. You will be accountable for defining the best solutions to increase the business on targeted partners and end customers. Your role in the organization is to develop technical complex projects together with different internal departments and support the growth of our business in your territories. Education is also a key activity in the Sales Engineering department, and you’ll be responsible for delivering official Academy and tailored training within the territory. The responsibilities include field, inter-departmental and direct partner and customer proactive approach. The role involves some domestic and international travels.
We are looking for a focused and self-motivated team player with a technical background within IT and / or Physical Security. You will have the ability to hold inspiring presentations and demonstrations and to build strategic and trustworthy relationships at all levels. You high business acumen and knows how to prioritize accordingly.
You will have experience in pre-sales, B2B technical project-based work within the security market, alternatively within the IT channel and have knowledge in network technologies and applications. You will have the technical confidence to setup and demonstrate complex solutions within Network surveillance and solutions. Knowledge of VMS software is an advantage. You are used to complex project management in a fast-paced environment. You possess good analytical and organizational skills. Finally, you are creative, curious, and passionate for technology.
