Do you have any previous experience in the commercial field? Do you have an aptitude for sales? If your answer is yes, then you are the right person we are seeking as a Sales Engineer!

Introduction

Kaak Ovens & Proofers is an ever-expanding company, and we are looking for a figure to be included as a Sales Engineer , in our Sales Department. The Sales Engineer will report directly to the Head of Sales.

Job responsibilities

• Knowing how to manage commercial relationships with Italian and foreign customers regarding products belonging to the machinery sector for the food industry;
• Ability to achieve sales targets, analysing and understanding the food industry machinery market;
• Knowing how to identify customer needs;
• Develop the design of systems for medium and large projects (from 1 to 5 million euros), supported by the Engineering Team;
• Develop a project from the beginning to the final design;
• Evaluate projects together with the Head of Sales and other Group Sales Engineers based on business needs and risks;
• Convert the design into a layout and make the appropriate calculations following the calculation methods of the Group standards;
• Support the Head of Sales with technical-commercial presentations to be provided to the customer;
• Support sales activities, especially regarding products with high technical standards;
• Work on multiple projects at the same time;
• Work according to the structure and patterns of the sales process to ensure an effective sales cycle and the correct transfer of sales projects to project execution.

Job requirements

• Proven work experience in the industrial field (2-3 years);
• Technical knowledge of the company’s products (ovens and proofers);
• Good knowledge of the main technical drawing softwares (3D drawing : Inventor, 2D drawing : Autocad);
• Full professional working proficiency in English;
• Limited working proficiency or more in German (preferably);
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
• Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad (at least 25% of the working time).
