Adecco Life Science, the specialized division of the Adecco Group, is seeking a Sales & Project Engineer for a client company operating in the pressure vessels sector.
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic professional to drive sales initiatives and manage technical projects with leading European engineering firms. This role focuses on bids management, expanding market presence in the pressure vessel sector, and ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Development & Sales Execution
- Identify and engage new clients in Europe, including but not limited to engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies, end users, project developers, investors, etc., leveraging industry networks and technical expertise.
- Lead/support technical-commercial negotiations, including contract finalization and pricing strategies, together with the headquarters team in Shanghai, China.
- Prepare tailored proposals and presentations to align with client specifications.
- Maintain good client relationships and gather insight information when necessary.
- Project Management & Coordination
- Oversee project lifecycle from design review to delivery, ensuring compliance with technical standards and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams (engineering, production, logistics) to resolve technical challenges and optimize deliverables.
- Conduct on-site technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, etc.
- Provide actionable insights to refine product positioning and market penetration strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in pressure vessel and/or module sales or project management, with proven success in B2B technical sales.
- Hands-on familiarity with European engineering procurement processes and key clients (e.g., EPC contractors).
- Knowledge of ASME VIII, PED 2014/68/EU, EN 13445, and other relevant standards.
- Proficiency in technical documentation (e.g., P&ID, datasheets, drawings, specifications).
- Italian mothertongue, fluent in English (written/spoken); additional European languages are advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and intercultural communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across Europe and occasionally to global project sites.
Work location: Segrate (MI)
Working hours: Full-time from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of some remote work.
Employment Terms: CCNL Metalmeccanico, Level and RAL will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. Permanent contract directly with the company. Lunch tickets (€8/day), business travel allowance.
