Your Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our business development efforts across Italy and Greece. This strategic role is responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing profitability, and executing our sales strategy effectively in these key markets. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven experience in sales management, pricing strategies, and team development.

  • Market Development: Drive initiatives in Italy and Greece to identify new opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Revenue & Profitability Management: Monitor and manage revenue, gross profitability, and profit contribution to meet or exceed targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track monthly sales and gross profit performance; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Pricing Strategy: Own and align pricing strategies with business units, product teams, pricing managers, and Business Planning Partners (BPPs).
  • Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop sales teams, including account managers and support staff, to ensure excellence in key account management.
  • Strategic Contribution: Provide market-specific insights and defend local business needs to contribute to regional strategy.

About You

  • Proven experience in senior sales leadership, preferably within a multinational or matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of the Italian and Greek markets, including cultural and business nuances.
  • Experience in the savoury products sector is highly desirable, especially in managing key accounts and developing market strategies within the food industry.
  • Experience managing all aspects of financial performance, including revenues, costs, and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership and people development skills.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; Greek language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across both countries.
