Competenze

Our client, an Italian multinational company specializing in the production and sales of industrial components with applications in multiple sectors such as mining, lifting and logistics, handling automation and/or conveyors, and earth-moving machinery, is looking for a Sales Director Europe.

YOUR NEW ROLE

The candidate, reporting directly to the Managing Director and coordinating an international team, will perform the following activities:

  1. Define short- and long-term commercial strategies for both the Italian and foreign markets, focusing on European countries;
  2. Conduct market analysis to identify market trends, competitors' actions, and customer needs, to understand the strategic actions to be taken to penetrate the markets;
  3. Identify new business opportunities to increase the selling line;
  4. Manage relationships with Key Clients;
  5. Analyze and monitor sales and forecasts to assess the achievement of assigned targets and budgets;
  6. Analyze the macroeconomic and socio-political framework of the assigned markets to understand which strategies to adopt, also verifying the risk factor;
  7. Manage country managers present in the international territory.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

We are looking for a result-oriented person with a proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, clear and efficient communication, and excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, the following are preferred:

  1. Technical degree, (MBA will be considered a plus);
  2. 8-10 years of experience in the same role, preferably in OEM sector companies;
  3. The ideal candidate has excellent leadership skills in managing people and coordinating the activities of stakeholders from different European cultures;
  4. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) and knowledge of a second European language will be considered a plus;
  5. Availability to travel (50%).
