The opportunity :

Flexport is a freight forwarder and logistics platform using modern software to make global trade easier for everyone. Due to our exciting growth here in Europe we are now looking to grow our Sales team and are seeking innovative individuals who can help take us on our journey to the next level.

You will :

Based in our most beautiful Flexport office in Milan, you will join our growing commercial team and play a crucial role in owning and executing our growth plans in the region. Strategically and with a lot of creativity you will be tasked to get in touch with our ideal customers to challenge them on their supply chain strategy and show how technology can support in solving common bottlenecks.

No two days will be the same in this challenging role where you will be responsible for :

  • Identifying and creating new sales opportunities for the local sales team, spearheading the south european sales efforts;
  • Working with Account Executives and local sales management to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities and must win for 2025;
  • Demonstrating the value of our offering through an omni-channel approach leveraging phone calls, email, video prospecting, events and social mediums;
  • Take ownership of the teams and the local sales teams' success.
  • Collaborate closely with your peers in other regions to find new creative ways to drive top of the funnel and uplevel our sales development organization.

This role will give you the opportunity to learn how global trade works from the ground up and build the foundation for your career in tech sales. Shadowing Account Executives in meetings and other activities to help you acquire the skills you’ll need for your next role on the Flexport sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a business that is going to coach and develop you to take more ownership in the sales cycle. We view our sales development teams as the talent engine for the rest of the sales organisation. Meaning : we give you the tools to be empowered and really take your sales and consultative skills to the next level.

You’ll be joining a sales team with a lot of emphasis, combining great culture, a place to succeed and focus on career development make this a fun & dynamic place to work.

You should have :

We are looking for high energy people who want to learn and develop their sales skills. Who are enthusiastic communicators, love being on the phone and adding value to customers, able to empathise and present solutions to suit their needs. This role would suit someone who had a bachelor degree or higher and is commercially minded, with some sales or commercial experience in their pocket. Above all : they’re solution oriented, taking extreme ownership and looking to work in a quickly adapting tech environment. Ideally 6-12 months of SDR or BDR experience (not mandatory). This role requires fluent Italian and English language knowledge, both spoken and written. So if this sounds like you, apply to learn more!
