ABOUT THE ROLE
JOB TITLE: Sales & Customer Care Associate Manager – Temporary Contract
LOCATION: London (hybrid)
TYPE OF CONTRACT: 12 months term contract
SALARY RANGE: £35-40k
Note: This is a maternity leave cover role for 12 months. If performance and growth targets are met, there may be an opportunity to become a permanent part of the team in the future.
Responsibilities
- Working with our Regional Manager, play a critical role in the success of WeRoad in all English-speaking markets.
- Be the sales expert, hunting down and converting leads through all channels.
- Be the first point of contact for WeRoaders and engage with them across major channels (Facebook, Instagram, Zendesk, WhatsApp, phone, and more).
- Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Care Team to develop a sales strategy and best practices for sourcing and converting WeRoaders.
- Identify creative ways to generate new leads, build your network, and optimize the most effective interaction channels.
- Maintain an organized sales process with an efficient pipeline and record of customer interactions.
- Be an expert on all adventures and provide tailored advice to customers seeking support in finding and booking their perfect tour.
- Act as the escalation point for post-sales inquiries, ensuring timely responses and taking feedback on board.
What we’re looking for
- A natural salesperson and leader with at least 2 years’ experience in the field.
- English native or native-level proficiency; familiarity with British culture and communication styles.
- Ability to multi-task with resilience and an open mind.
- Comfort working with people in other countries and across all seniority levels.
- People person who proactively contacts customers interested in WeRoad.
- Energetic communicator who translates energy and personality across online, written, and face-to-face interactions.
- Ambitious, target-driven, and self-motivated to achieve results.
- Sociable and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Passion for travel, learning, and meeting new people — the WeRoad spirit.
- Proficient with Google Sheets, PowerPoint, data analysis; takes an analytical approach to work.
