We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Smart Infrastructure Buildings area.

Your Challenge

This opportunity is within the fire business, specifically dealing with the high pressure water mist portfolio within the Extinguishing Product Line.

Within this strategic role, you will be responsible for creating technology demand and developing business. You will also work with our partner network, to grow their business' and support them with local strategies. By leveraging Siemens' vast in-country resources and infrastructure, we are well positioned to provide unmatched technical expertise to the industry. You'll have an opportunity to join our global sales team by playing a key role in developing the future as we continue to grow our high-pressure water mist technology.

Your main activities will be:
  • Grow and maintain a pipeline of projects with our partner network.
  • Use our CRM system to manage the pipeline within the country and create quotations together with the central team.
  • Regularly report sales figures for both revenue and order intake for your region.
  • Identify and attend exhibitions and seminars to grow our presence and create demand.
  • Work with consultants, fire engineers and architects to provide support during early design stages and influence the technology decision.
  • Keep well informed of the global and local water mist standards for land based water mist systems.
  • Travel is expected as part of this role, mainly within Italy but also with occasional international travel.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:
  • Proven experience in sales within the fire protection industry, specifically with water mist.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Strong attention to detail, you must be able to meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy of work.
  • You will be comfortable and experienced with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Great interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic team player.
  • Global mindset and passion to never-stop growing
  • Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge
  • Eligibility to work in Italy
