Sales & BD Manager Italy – Low Vision Medical Devices

Our client is a startup with a mission to harness artificial intelligence and computer vision for the visually impaired. They developed an innovative, smart, wearable camera with an intuitive interface to improve independence for people with vision loss.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B business development, field sales, customer success, or marketing in the low vision industry
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience as an optometrist or optician is a plus
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and telephone etiquette skills
  • Self-starter with good time management
  • Comfortable working with aged and disabled individuals
  • Experience working remotely with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business development in Italy
  • Manage relationships with distributors, resellers, government agencies, and clinics
  • Promote awareness through collaborations with assistive technology organizations
  • Present and demonstrate products to organizations and potential users
  • Participate in marketing activities, events, and trade shows
  • Provide device training emphasizing its benefits and value
  • Coordinate with team members, report activities, and join sales meetings

Measurement of Success:

  • Achieve sales quotas monthly, quarterly, and yearly
  • Positive feedback from partners, colleagues, and customers
