Role of Sales Assistant

The Sales Assistant plays an essential role in the retail function. This position involves connecting and engaging with customers, supporting daily team and store activities. We seek someone attentive, reliable, energetic, approachable, punctual, with extensive fashion and trend knowledge, and confident in engaging and styling clients.

The Sales Assistant will welcome and assist customers throughout the sales process, describing products and focusing on delivering an exceptional customer experience. They will also support store management in creating a creative and developmental environment.

Selling Skills

• Be a brand ambassador and embrace the brand selling ceremony.
• Drive sales through warm welcomes, exceptional customer service, and effective sales techniques from start to finish.
• Contribute to achieving ZV objectives and store KPIs (AB and UPT).
• Provide personalized advice and tailor sales to customer needs.
• Build customer loyalty and understand CRM strategies.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of the collection and iconic pieces.

Operations

• Operate the till system, process payments, and manage queues efficiently.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Handle customer needs, including exchanges, credit notes, and holds.
• Encourage customers to join the mailing list.
• Maintain stock replenishment and manage stock transfers and faulty items with support from management.
• Process deliveries.
• Maintain a luxurious store environment and standards.
• Answer calls promptly and courteously.
• Implement loss prevention procedures and conduct inventories.
• Keep the shop floor and stockroom clean and organized.
• Follow health & safety guidelines.

Merchandising

• Process deliveries, replenishments, and transfers.
• Support the implementation of VM guidelines.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have up to two years of sales experience in an upper-end brand and a passion for fashion and luxury. They should be able to advise demanding clients, be hardworking, dynamic, energetic, and committed to excellent customer service.

Additional Requirements

For the summer period, fluency in Italian and English is required; additional languages are beneficial.
